“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Marjorie “Missy” Miller on September 2, 2024. Missy courageously battled esophageal cancer for 3 ½ years before finding peace at Grace Davis Hall House. Missy, born to Susan Ross on September 14, 1966, spent her formative years in Cincinnati, Ohio before relocating to Florida with her mother and stepfather, Edward Finnegan, who played a pivotal role in her life. After residing in Miami for several years, she eventually settled in the greater Ocala area.

Throughout her 18-year tenure at Circle K convenience stores, Missy’s affable and compassionate demeanor cultivated enduring relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers. Her influence positively impacted countless lives, inspiring many to reach unprecedented heights.

Missy is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Jimmy Ross, and her cherished children, Ashley and Isaiah Ross, of whom she was immensely proud. She also leaves behind her beloved grandson, Aiden Jackson, and was deeply attached to Jimmy’s sons, James “Nank” Ross and Nathaniel “Pop” Ross. Not to be overlooked are her beloved pets, particularly Baby Kitty, who steadfastly stood by her side during her final months. Missy is preceded in death by Jimmy’s son, Christopher Ross.
