To the Editor:
Builders are coming in droves, leaving behind messes for the locals. Living in between Ocala and Dunnellon, my family has watched Marion County grow for thirty years.
They hire cheap companies whose laborers do not clean up after themselves. Land clearers have even left tree stumps in the easement ways of the roads- where we’ve had to call and report it in our area.
The burning of lots close to homes; construction starting before 6 a.m. even. There seems to be no respect for those who already live here.
Growth is great, but at what cost?
The horse farms are few and far between these days, yet Marion County has plenty of gas stations, storage facilities, and grocery stores to serve the masses that just keep coming.
