The team behind Ocala’s second Culver’s location will break ground at the new restaurant site in less than three weeks.
A groundbreaking ceremony has been scheduled for October 3 at 3637 W Silver Springs Boulevard.
The new Culver’s in Ocala will be built by Campbell Construction, which first shared news of the groundbreaking with Ocala-News.com.
“Like Craig Culver always says, ‘We never compromise on quality!’ At Campbell Construction, we strive to achieve the same, working hard to build the future around us,” said Jay Campbell, CEO and Founder of Campbell Construction.
According to Marion County property records, the 1.65-acre site of the future Culver’s was purchased in July for $1.3 million by Seminole Dirt Holdings II, LLC, which is registered to Joshua Clark, Steven Buchmeier, and Shad Finley.
The new restaurant is one of several that the partners have opened locally in recent years, beginning with the Culver’s in The Villages in 2017, and followed by Culver’s openings in Ocala in 2021 and Wildwood in 2022.
Founded 40 years ago by George, Ruth, Craig, and Lea Culver, as of this year, there are approximately 1,000 Culver’s locations across the country. That includes over 100 locations in Florida alone.
