It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Danny Brooks on Sunday September 22, 2024 in Ocala, Florida at the age of 61. Danny was born on August 7, 1963 in Hollywood, Florida to Danny Brooks, Sr. and Roseanne (Terlizzese) Brooks.
Danny met the love of his life, Lisa [Taylor] Brooks at an early age. They were married 44 years. Danny is survived by his wife, Lisa; daughters, Holly, Brandy, and Chelsea; granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Makenzie, Ava, and Alexis.
Danny was a devoted husband and loving father. His family was always paramount in his life. He loved nature, hiking, bird watching and animals, especially his French bulldog Max.
Danny had an extensive career as a medical provider. He began his career as a paramedic in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida in the early 80’s. He became a registered nurse in 1992 and worked in emergency rooms of several local hospitals. Danny went on to further his education and graduated in 2008 from The University of Florida with a Master of Science degree in Nursing. As a nurse practitioner, he pursued a specialty certification in emergency medicine. Throughout his career, he touched the lives of many patients and colleagues with his dedication, knowledge and compassion.
Danny will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and dedication to his profession. He made an impact on so many lives and will surely be missed by all.
