To the Editor:
It seems that my last letter was highly offensive to certain groups, namely the Liberal/Progressive/Woke/ Democrats, and I’m here to say…Boo-Hoo.
It bothered them so much, that they immediately wrote three letters to the editor, condemning me and then condemning Ocala-News.com for publishing it:
- We have met many kind and considerate people in Marion County despite differences in beliefs
- Some letters only ‘stir the pot,’ serve as catalyst for hate, crime
- I think less of Ocala-News.com for publishing a divisive letter
Thank you, Ocala-News.com, for not caving into them and for not taking my letter down. I respect your decision to hang in there, regardless of their playbook tactics.
Their predictable use of vilifying anyone who they disagree with might work in other parts of the country, but it won’t work here.
