Beloved husband and father, Kevin James Campise, of Ocala, FL, passed away at age 57 on September 24, 2024.

Kevin was born in the Bronx, NY on October 23, 1966 to Joseph and Patricia Campise. Kevin graduated from Mercy College with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2005 and graduated from the College of Mount Saint Vincent with a Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Allied Health Counseling.

In 1998, Kevin met his wife, Debbie, for the first time at the Tremont Diner in the Bronx. They were married on August 9, 2002.
Kevin was an accomplished and adored teacher. He was a special education teacher and also taught social studies and science to middle and high school students later in his career.

Kevin has been sober for 28 years. He became a beloved member and mentor in the 12 Step Community. He was able to help countless people over many years.

Kevin is survived by his wife Debbie and his four children, Lauren, Nicole, Johnathan, and Ariel and his first grandchild Noah Paul. Kevin is also survived by his siblings Joseph, Catherine, Michael, Martin, Paul and Patti Ann and their extended families. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Patricia Campise.

My husband helped and touched many people’s lives, including his students, friends, family and strangers. Most of all, he carried a message of hope, love and recovery to so many of the sick and suffering. He was an amazing man, and I will always love and cherish him and the beautiful family we share.

A wake will be held on Kevin’s birthday, October 23, 2024 for friends and family from 6-8 pm at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 11250 SW 93rd Ct Rd, Suite #300, Ocala, FL 34481.

Private viewing for family only will be held on October 24th at 11am in the same location.
