A new café that offers healthy drinks, sandwiches, salads, and wraps has officially opened within a recreation center in northwest Ocala.
Healthy Hub officially opened for business within the Mary Sue Rich Center on October 5.
Located at 1821 NW 21st Avenue, a lease for the new café was approved by city officials in September.
Healthy Hub is owned by Tyla Kennedy, a local entrepreneur who has founded multiple health-based companies in Ocala over the last several years.
The café’s menu features several healthy options, including a breakfast bar with oatmeal bowls, yogurt parfaits, bagels, and protein oats.
For lunch, Healthy Hub offers multiple hot and cold sandwiches, as well as hamburgers, wraps, and salads.
Hot dishes come with a side and include a classic Cuban, a slow-cooked pork barbecue sandwich, a pressed Italian, and several other options.
In addition to its breakfast and lunch options, Healthy Hub also features a Kid’s Menu with grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese, turkey and cheese, and ham and cheese options.
