Marjorie Marie (Marge) English, 95, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on October 14, 2024, in Ocala, Florida.
Marge was born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, to Hugh and Edith Roosa on April 12, 1929. She attended Wellsboro High School. From there, she went on to earn a license in Cosmetology from the Corning Area Occupational Center.

Marge was self-employed as a hairdresser for approximately 20 years, and she also was a school bus driver for Savona Central School. She enjoyed spending time with her family baking cookies and knitting. She was a member of the Champagne Whirlaways and the African Violet Club.

Marge is survived by her son, David Sr., of Derby, New York; a daughter, Cathy of Ocala, Florida; grandsons, David Jr. and Michael of Lakeview, New York; grandsons, Keith (Victoria) and Kyle of Ocala, Florida; great grandsons, Kayden and Karson of Ocala, Florida; her beloved dog, Ginger; sisters, Janice Deats and Carol Dibble; brother, David Roosa and many nieces and nephews.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband, James; a son, Jerry; her mother, Edith; father, Hugh; brothers, Leigh, Elwin, and Dwayne and sisters, Doris and Wanda.

No services will be held at this time. She will be cremated and a burial and memorial service will be held at a later date. Her ashes will be buried with her husband’s ashes at the Middleburg Union Cemetery in Middleburg, Pennsylvania, next to their beloved son Jerry.
