SunTran is offering free bus rides to Ocala polling locations for Tuesday’s general election.
Beginning at 5 a.m., SunTran will offer free ridership along its seven regular routes throughout the city of Ocala. The company says it will offer free rides all throughout election day until 10 p.m.
Polling locations open for the general election at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5. Polls will remain open until 7 p.m.
Local residents are advised to identify their polling location to utilize the applicable bus route.
SunTran will resume regular bus fares on Wednesday, November 6.
As of Monday morning, a total of 145,588 voters in Marion County have already cast their ballots, representing over 54% of the 265,806 registered voters in the area.
