An equestrian property in northwest Ocala was just sold for over $3.6 million, doubling its sales price from just over a decade ago.
According to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts, the 38.65-acre property at 9536 W Highway 326 was sold for $3,665,000 on October 30.
The property is situated just a few miles north of the Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club and the World Equestrian Center, and about 10 miles northwest of the Ocala International Airport.
The site features a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home, a 12-stall barn, and a 3-bay equipment building and workshop, according to a listing by the real estate agent behind the sale (Ocala Horse Properties). The home is 3,536 square feet and the barn features a tack room, wash room, and several other equestrian amenities.
The deed shows that the property was sold by Condores 3261 LLC to Neil Alan Godfrey.
According to Marion County Property Appraiser records, Condores 3261, LLC purchased the property from Joseph and Holiday Hudson Burke for $1.8 million in June 2014.
In 2002, the Burkes purchased the property for $775,000 from Jerold and Katharine Swinderman.
