A nonprofit group that creates events and acts of gratitude to honor teachers will host a free tea party for educators at an Ocala museum this weekend.

Made For Teachers, Inc., will host its Chat & Chew Fall Edition Tea Party on Saturday, November 9, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Appleton Museum, which is located at 4333 E Silver Springs Boulevard in east Ocala.

The event is dedicated to honoring and appreciating local teachers by bringing together educators, community members, and local businesses to recognize the contributions made every day by teachers.

Live music during the event will be provided by Cheyllo and attorney Ayana K. Barrow will give a special guest talk.

Although teachers are free and may RSVP with their name and school at madeforteachers@gmail.com, tickets for the event will benefit the organization.
