A 51-unit apartment complex in east Ocala was just sold for over $2.66 million, joining several other similar sales of income-generating properties this year in Marion County.
Silver Forest Apartments was purchased for $2,666,000 by JAX FUND 4, LLC on October 31, according to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts.
Located at 1200 NE 30th Avenue, the complex features a total of 51 apartment units distributed over eight buildings.
The units include six studios, 33 one-bedroom units, and 12 two-bedroom units, with 2/3 of the two-bedroom units offering one bathroom and the remaining four offering two.
According to county records, the buildings that comprise the complex were built between 1984 and 1985 and were reroofed in 2021.
State corporate records show that Jax Fund 4, LLC is registered to two companies based in Sunrise, Florida: TLV Investments 2, LLC and Meteor Holdings, LLC.
TLV Investments bills itself as a real estate “solutions firm specializing in buying properties in Jacksonville and surrounding areas.”
The property was sold by Silver Forest Gardens, LP, which purchased the complex in 2021 for $2,491,948, according to county records. Silver Forest Gardens, LP is registered to Silver Forest Gardens Managing Co. GP, LLC, which is based in Virginia.
The sale of Silver Forest Apartments is one of several sales of apartment complexes and mobile and recreational vehicle parks in Marion County this year.
In September, Ocala Sun RV Resort was sold for $13.6 million to a Sarasota-based company.
In August, Paddock Apartments was sold for $11,220,000 to a company whose parent corporation is based in Minnesota.
Over the summer, Belleview Hills residents were told by new ownership to vacate their mobile home park in south Marion County.
