Mark Wahlberg and his daughter, Grace, who has made a name for herself as an accomplished equestrian, visited one of Ocala’s world-renowned venues last week, where the actor took an ice bath in a horse trough.

Wahlberg shared a brief video of his visit to Ocala’s World Equestrian Center last week.

During the visit, the actor, who also owns several businesses, took a dip in an ice bath as part of his fitness routine.

Although he regularly highlights his ice baths, this one was a little different.

In the video he posted to social media, Wahlberg is seen being led to a horse trough filled to the brim with ice water.

“What the heck? This is an ice bath?” says Wahlberg as he’s led to a stable with the trough. “I’m allergic to horses you know, I’m allergic.”

Shortly after climbing into the trough, Grace walks by and asks her dad what he’s doing in the trough.

“They said this was the ice bath. Is this for the horses?” says Wahlberg. After his daughter confirms that it is, Wahlberg says he’s staying in for “five minutes” as part of his “cold life.”

“They told me there was an ice bath,” said Wahlberg in the caption to the post. “My nickname is the workhorse.”

The 53-year-old father of four frequently shares videos of his ice baths and various parts of his fitness routine to over 50 million social media followers.

Over his career, Wahlberg has starred in over five dozen films. Currently, he owns and co-owns several businesses, including Wahlburgers and MUNICIPAL, an apparel brand that he co-founded in 2019.

Wahlberg’s visit to Ocala comes just a few months after Dog the Bounty Hunter was spotted during a stop in the city.
