To the Editor:
One of the reasons we picked Ocala 26 years ago was its beauty; from the giant oak trees and clean city streets, to the wildlife that was easy to see everywhere.
The commissioners approving all this new construction must not have come from this great little city.
They could easily maintain most of the trees and still allow for so called “progress.”
They must only think about dollars and not the ecology of the area. It is shameful.
