Multiple restaurants in Ocala are open on Thanksgiving this year, with many offering special menus to celebrate the holiday.

On Thursday, November 28, a collection of restaurants across the city will keep their doors open for lunch and/or dinner meals related to Thanksgiving. We have compiled a partial list of some of the various options across the city:

Live Fire Chefs506 S. Pine AvenueThe recently opened restaurant near downtown Ocala will offer a Thanksgiving menu featuring turkey, filet mignon, New Zealand lamb chops, Chilean sea bass, and several other dishes. The restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Call 352-421-5265 for reservations and more information.

La Cuisine – 48 SW 1st Avenue – The French restaurant in downtown is serving its traditional turkey breast roulade with various accoutrements, as well as Pecan pie and ice Bourbon ice cream. The restaurant will also have its regular menu available through 5 p.m. Call 352-433-2570 for reservations and more information.

Northgate Diner – 3541 NE Jacksonville Road – The diner with “home cookin'” will feature Thanksgiving lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $23 per person. The Thanksgiving menu includes turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, pink fluff, green bean casserole, corn casserole, cranberry sauce, homemade applesauce, rolls, and a drink and a dessert. Before the lunch meal, a full-service menu will be available from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Call 352-401-0900 for reservations.

Ipanema Brazilian Steak House – 2023 S Pine Ave – The steakhouse is open, but reservations seem to be full. A representative from the company encouraged diners to call in case of cancellations, as the restaurant will open at 12 p.m. and have its last seating at 6 p.m.

Darrell’s Diner, which operates multiple locations in the area, is hosting a free Thanksgiving Day Dinner at 505 Sanchez Avenue. All are welcome to come and encouraged to bring a dessert to share.
