Drives in Ocala to see horse farms replaced with traffic jams, homes, apartments

To the Editor:

We absolutely hate to go to Ocala. The traffic is a nightmare and it doesn’t matter where you’re going. A doctor’s appointment is the only reason we go to Ocala.

It used to be nice to ride around and see the big horse farms. Now, there are mostly developments with homes and apartments that no one can afford.

Soon, there will be no land for crops to grow, and there will be none of Florida’s citrus fruit trees that the state is known for.

It’s just heartbreaking and sad.
