A company that develops workforce housing just opened another apartment complex in southwest Ocala, marking its third such development in that part of the city since 2023, with a fourth currently under construction nearby.
Pointe Grand Timber Ridge celebrated its grand opening this week with a ribbon cutting at its new location at 9201 SW 108th Place. The complex is located just off State Road 200, just northwest of the Oak Run retirement community.
According to the company’s website, the complex features hundreds of 2-bedroom apartments, with monthly rental prices starting at $1,549.
The community amenities at the complex include a pool, a 24-hour fitness center, a dog park, a clubhouse with a coffee bar, a business center, a picnic area with barbecue grills, and a firepit.
Pointe Grand Timber Ridge also offers valet trash service, free Wi-Fi in common areas, and has no breed or weight restrictions for pets.
The new apartment complex is at least the third Pointe Grand complex to open in Ocala over past couple of years.
The first complex, Pointe Grand Ocala, was approved by city officials in 2021. That complex opened at 3435 SW 20th Street in 2023.
The second complex, Pointe Grand at Heath Brook, opened this year at 4850 SW 40th Avenue.
Additionally, a fourth complex, Pointe Grand Brick City, is currently under construction at 6150 60th Avenue.
All of the complexes offer similar 2-bedroom layouts and rental prices and are managed by Hillpointe, LLC, which is a Central Florida-based, fully-integrated real estate development and investment firm.
The company focuses on the “development of workforce housing in the Southeastern United States,” according to its website.
