A new deli that serves classic sandwiches, handmade desserts, and a variety of popular deli salads that are all made fresh daily has just opened its doors in east Marion County.
Spike’s Deli is now open for business at 13758 E Hwy 25 in Ocklawaha. The new deli is just a couple of blocks east of Ma Barkers Hideaway Bar and Gator Joe’s Beach Bar & Grill.
Owned by Kathryn Bolton, Spike’s Deli makes all of its dishes fresh daily from scratch. The deli offers dine-in and to-go services.

In addition to the subs, the restaurant also offers clubs, rolls, sandwiches, and wraps, among other items.
Salads include Manhattan pasta, potato salad, macaroni salad, and other special items.
Additionally, all of the desserts at the restaurant are handmade from scratch.
