After allegedly making the sandwich, which was valued at around $10, Robbins exited the store with the unpaid food.

The deputy responded to the Subway and made contact with Robbins outside of the business. After being detained and read his Miranda rights, Robbins allegedly admitted to going behind the counter to make himself a sandwich.

Once confronted by the manager, Robbins advised that he left the store and threw the sandwich into a nearby trash can, according to the report.

The deputy noted in the report that the Subway location had to throw away approximately $66 worth of food due to contamination from this incident.

Robbins was placed under arrest and transported to Marion County Jail. He was released later that same day after posting a $1,000 bond, and he is facing the following charges: retail theft and criminal mischief with property damage under $200.

A court date has not been scheduled yet, according to jail records.
