A new shop that buys, sells, and trades vintage toys, comics, sports cards, Hot wheels, and other collectibles is opening in east Ocala in the coming weeks.
Grand Slam Collectibles is nearing completion of its new location at 1749 E. Silver Springs Boulevard. The new shop is situated in the Ocala Center shopping plaza, near the new Franco’s Italian Restaurant that opened this past summer.
The new shop features a wide variety of sports products, including autographed jerseys, baseball cards, signed posters, and other memorabilia.
For those interested in vintage toys and games, Grand Slam Collectibles offers an extensive collection of boxed action figures from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, and Hot Wheels brands.
Although hours of operation are currently not available, the business announced that it plans to host a grand opening celebration on Saturday, February 8.
