The Marion Oaks Recreation Department is hosting regular classes every Wednesday to teach the fundamentals of pickleball.
Pickleball beginners’ classes will be held each Wednesday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Marion Oaks Community Center, which is located at 294 Marion Oaks Lane in Ocala.
Classes are free and will be taught by coach Marylin. During each event, participants will learn the finer points of pickleball from an experienced player.
Participants will then step onto the court to put their newly minted skills to the test.
Equipment will be provided to participants while supplies last.
