Arnold Keith Sykes, 87, passed peacefully on December 27, 2024 at Cates House in Ocala, FL.
He was born into this life on February 8, 1937 and was the son to the late Arnold and May (Diggle) Sykes. Keith was born and raised in Rishton, England. He eventually moved from England to Rhode Island and worked as a Tool and Die Maker, before settling in New Jersey where he met his late wife, Karen.
While living in New Jersey, Keith and Karen owned and operated Y Worry Kennel and Dog Training School, offering obedience training and short-term boarding. Keith was a skilled and enthusiastic competitor in AKC Obedience.
He later retired and moved to Dunnellon. In his leisure time, Keith enjoyed collecting cigarette art cards and enjoyed listening to traditional jazz music.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen in 2022.
He leaves behind his children, Kevin Sykes and his wife, Krista, who both currently reside in Japan due to military service, and his daughter, Katheryn Urdinaran and her husband, Ricardo, who both reside in southern,NJ.
