Cassie Bagley

The victim reported before he returned home, he got into a verbal argument with 20-year-old Cassie Bagley. The victim reported the argument started outside when they were in Bagley’s vehicle. The victim stated he attempted to remove his belongings from the car, but Bagley started driving as he was in the doorway. The victim said he was able to get out of the car and go inside his home but Bagley exited the vehicle and followed him inside. The victim said the argument continued and he recorded Bagley on his phone. The victim claimed Bagley grabbed a brown bag of food and threw it at him before punching him in the nose. The victim said Bagley followed him in the bathroom, and he was forced to push her away, according to the sheriff’s report.

The victim provided video footage and it confirmed the claims, the report stated. The video also revealed Bagley yelling “No you just hit me,” before grabbing her cell phone from the counter and calling her sister. The video also confirmed that Bagley threw a bag at the victim before punching him and stating, “I hate you for doing this [expletive] to me.”

A deputy located Bagley and she claimed while she was in the home, the victim pulled her to the ground by her hair and scratched her, the report stated. Bagley said she then called her sister who removed the victim from on top of her. Bagley said she returned to the home to get her belongings and admitted to throwing the victim’s food at him and punching him but claimed it was in self-defense.

Bagley was arrested, transported to the Marion County Jail and released on June 6 with no bond. She was charged with domestic battery and a court date is set for June 16 at 1 p.m., jail records show.
