No injuries were reported after a vehicle caught on fire in northeast Ocala on Friday morning.
According to Ocala Fire Rescue, shortly after 9:25 a.m., multiple units (Engine 3, Rescue 3, and Battalion Chief 11) were dispatched to NE Jacksonville Road due to reports of a vehicle fire.
Upon arrival, the units observed a white sedan that was parked on the side of the road, and its front compartment was fully engulfed in flames.
OFR crews used Engine 3’s pre-connected hose line to combat the fire, and the flames were extinguished in two minutes.
The driver was outside of the vehicle and was unharmed.
