A waitress was stiffed by a late-night customer Tuesday night at the Denny’s restaurant at Days Inn on Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala.
The customer came in at about 9 p.m. and ate a meal valued at $13.18, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
The customer said she needed to run to the bank and get some money. She left and after three hours, it was determined she was not coming back. The manager called law enforcement.
