Sixth Annual Brick City Beer and Wine Festival coming to Ocala in April

The sixth annual Brick City Beer and Wine Festival, presented by the World Equestrian Center, will be held Saturday, April 20 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Citizens’ Circle, located at 151 SE Osceola Ave.

The sixth annual Brick City Beer and Wine Festival will be held Saturday, April 20 from 2 to 8 p.m. and will feature unlimited samplings from more than 30 local and regional craft beer and wine vendors, four food trucks and crafts and sales vendors.

The beer and wine tasting portion of the event will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. and will feature unlimited sampling from over 30 local and regional craft beer and wine vendors, four food trucks and crafts and sales vendors. The “Kid’s Soda Saloon,” a soda tasting booth, will return for guests in attendance ages 12 and under from 2 to 6 p.m.

From 2 to 6 p.m., live entertainment will be provided by local band, R-Style. From 6 to 8 p.m., the event headliner, Titans of Rock, will perform. The Titans of Rock Concert Experience brings you back to those days of packed arenas, when bands really put on show and will feature some of the most iconic rock songs from Journey and Bon Jovi. Beer will be available for purchase during this time.

Children attending the sixth annual Brick City Beer and Wine Festival will enjoy the “Kid’s Soda Saloon,” a soda-tasting booth for guests ages 12 and under.

Tickets for this event are $35 per person and can be purchased at www.brickcitybeerfest.com. All presale tickets are $30 and may only be purchased online through April 19. A $15 general admission ticket is available for those wishing to attend the event and concert, but not consume or sample alcoholic beverages. Admission is free for children ages 12 and under.

VIP Concerts tickets also are available for $25 (in addition to the beer and wine Festival Sampling Pass. VIP admission includes access to a VIP tent with appetizers and one beer, as well as up-close stage seating. This event is rain or shine and coolers will not be permitted. Tickets are non-refundable.

The annual Brick City Beer and Wine Festival, which is quite popular with area residents, is hosted by the Ocala-Silver Springs Rotary Club and the Ocala-Sunset Rotary. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Interfaith Emergency Services, Marion County Literacy Council and Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection.

Last year, at the fifth annual Brick City Beer and Wine Festival, partnering rotary clubs raised approximately $50,000 for Interfaith Emergency Services.
