Penny Sales Tax funding roadway rehabilitations in Southwestern Marion County

The Marion County Office of the County Engineer has announced a list of lane closures throughout the county on account of road rehabilitation that is partially funded by the Penny Sales Tax.

Between June 3 and August 1, Marion Oaks Lane between the intersections of Marion Oaks Course and Marion Oaks Boulevard will be closed due to road rehabilitation.

Southwest 38th Avenue between the intersections of Southwest 95th Street and Southwest 66th Street will also be closed during that time due to roadway rehabilitation funded by the Penny Sales Tax.

On Tuesday, June 4, and Wednesday, June 5, Southwest 80th Avenue at the intersection of Southwest 63rd Street Road and Southwest 80th Avenue will be closed due to roadway repairs.

Starting on June 10, and going through November 11, Southeast 182nd Avenue Road between the intersections of County Road 42 and Southeast 95th Street Road will be closed due to road rehabilitation. That rehabilitation is also funded by the Penny Sales Tax.

Crews will place barricades, signs, and flaggers to direct traffic through all work zones. Travelers should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. Adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may affect and delay the work schedule.
