One driver was transported to an area hospital and the other one wasn’t injured in a crash Monday morning at the intersection of SE Fort King Street and SE 36th Avenue.

A motorist was transported to an area hospital Tuesday morning following a rollover crash in Ocala.

One driver was transported to an area hospital and the other one wasn’t injured in a crash Tuesday morning at the intersection of SE Fort King Street and SE 36th Avenue.

Crews from Ocala Fire Rescue responded to the call at the intersection of SE Fort King Street and SE 36th Avenue shortly before 10 a.m. When they arrived, they found a white Jeep SUV on its side and a KIA passenger car sitting in the middle of the intersection.

Firefighters assessed and secured the scene while medics treated the driver of the Jeep, who was outside of the vehicle. The driver of the KIA wasn’t injured, an Ocala Fire Rescue report states.

Officers from the Ocala Police Department and crews from Marion County Fire Rescue also responded to the crash.
