Ocala man with lengthy arrest record charged with trespassing at dad’s home

Michael Paul Kiser

An Ocala man with 16 previous arrests was charged Monday with trespassing at his father’s home.

The victim told an Ocala Police officer that his son, 29-year-old Michael Paul Kiser, had come into his home uninvited and refused to leave. The victim said Kiser had been previously trespassed from the home, according to the police report.

The officer asked Kiser to come outside with him and he complied. A computer check showed Kiser was issued a trespass warning on Aug. 8, the report said.

Kiser was taken to the Marion County Jail, where records show he’s been arrested 16 previous times since 2008 on charges including trespassing, battery, domestic battery, obstruction of justice, petit theft, and numerous drug offenses. He was released Tuesday on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Marion County Court on Sept. 12.
