Crews from Ocala Fire Rescue were called Tuesday around noon to help rescue an injured worker at a construction site.

When firefighters arrived at the site in the 2600 block of SW College Road in Ocala, they discovered that the injured worker was on the top story of a building that was under construction.
Paramedics provided treatment and secured the patient in a stokes basket. Firefighters used the bucket of Tower 1 to lower the injured worker to safety, followed by transport to a local hospital.
Crews from Marion County Fire Rescue also responded to the incident.
