This red Nissan Altima crashed into the Auto Mall on Tuesday night in Ocala. The driver was suspected to be under the influence of drugs, a police report states.

The incident took place at the Auto Mall in the 2400 block of S. Pine Avenue when the driver of a red Nissan Altima sedan lost control while traveling in the area of 24th Street and 3rd Avenue. The driver, whose name wasn’t released and was suspected of being under the influence of drugs, drove over a concrete pole in the parking lot and ended up completely inside the building.

The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle and suffered minor injuries consistent with not wearing a seat belt. Property inside the business was damaged during the crash, an Ocala Police report states.

The Auto Mall on S. Pine Avenue suffered extensive damage Tuesday night when a vehicle crashed through the wall of the building.
