The Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host a Native Plants for Landscaping class at the Fort King National Historic Landmark.
The class, which is being hosted by the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agriculture Sciences, takes place on Saturday, May 29, beginning at 10 a.m. at the visitor center (3925 E Fort King Street).
The class will teach potential gardeners about which native plants are best for landscaping in Ocala and Florida. The class is free and open to the public.
