The Ocala Cultural Arts and Sciences Division is still seeking public input on a new mural planned for the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center.
The division will host a meeting on Saturday, September 18 at 10 a.m. in collaboration with the Racial Harmony and Cultural Awareness task force and the Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission to collect information on the new mural.
According to the city, the new mural will be located on the “west and south-facing walls” of the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center, which is located at 1510 NW 4th Street.
Ocala Cultural Arts will host another meeting on Friday, October 8 at 6 p.m.
The city says that during the meetings, residents will be able to meet muralist Cosby Hayes and literary artist Cynthia Graham.
