A voice actor best known for his work in animation and video games will join a growing list of celebrity guests at Ocala Comic Con 2022.
The convention will return to Ocala on Saturday, September 17 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), and Sunday, September 18 (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) at the World Equestrian Center located at 1390 NW 80th Avenue.
This year’s convention will include numerous celebrity, creator, and cosplay guests. The latest guest to be confirmed for the event is voice actor Mike McFarland.
McFarland is known for his roles as Jean Kirschtein in Attack on Titan, Master Roshi in Dragon Ball Z/Dragon Ball Super, Mashirao Ojiro “Tailman” in My Hero Academia, and Buggy in One Piece.
His voice can also be heard in various video games, including Borderlands 2 and 3, Aeon Flux, Halo Wars, Orcs Must Die!, Tales of Xillia 2, Smite, and several entries in the popular Street Fighter series.
McFarland will be in attendance for the entire convention, and he will be joined by actor Ross Marquand and second-generation stunt performer Dorian Kingi.
Marquand is known for his roles as Aaron on the long-running television series The Walking Dead, Red Skull in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, the voice of Red Skull and Ultron in Marvel’s What If…?, the voice of Rudy and Immortal on the animated series Invincible, and more.
Kingi has numerous acting roles to his credit, including the role of Cad Bane on the Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett. Other roles include the Wendigo creature in the 2021 movie Antlers, the motion capture double for Venom in Marvel’s Venom, and he was also the double for Robocop in the 2014 reboot.
Additional credits for Kingi include The Guardian, Crank, The Island, Semi-Pro, The Taking of Pelham 123, G-Force, Piranha 3D, Chuck, Boomtown, and Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles.
