City of Belleview looking to fill multiple board vacancies

The City of Belleview is looking for dedicated residents to fill vacancies on the city’s Code Enforcement, Planning and Zoning, and Police Pension Boards.

In order to serve on one of these boards, a person must live within the Belleview city limits, must be a registered voter, and cannot be delinquent in payment of property taxes.

Appointments will be made at the sole discretion of the City Commission based on levels of experience, civic involvement, and interest in these boards, according to a social media post from the city.

The boards meet multiple times throughout the year:

  • Planning and Zoning Board – meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
  • Code Enforcement Board – meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
  • Police Pension Board – meets quarterly.

For more information regarding these boards, visit the City of Belleview wepage, or contact the City Clerk’s office via phone (352-245-7021, ext. 2109) or email (mmoody@belleviewfl.org).
