One person was hospitalized on Tuesday morning following a two-vehicle collision with rollover on W Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala.
Shortly before 6:55 a.m., Ocala Fire Rescue crews consisting of Engine 4, Rescue 4, Squad 7, Battalion Chief 11, and a Safety Officer were dispatched to the 3900 block of W Silver Springs Boulevard due to reports of a motor vehicle accident.
Crews from Engine 4 and Rescue 4 arrived at the scene and observed a pickup truck on its roof and a sedan with moderate front-end damage. The two drivers involved in the crash were outside of their vehicles.
Ocala Fire Rescue’s Squad 7 arrived on scene, and crew members assisted Engine 4 and Rescue 4 with securing the scene of the accident and providing patient care.
The driver and sole occupant of the sedan was transported to a local hospital for a medical evaluation. No other injuries were reported.
The Ocala Police Department, Marion County Fire Rescue, and Florida Highway Patrol also responded to the scene of the accident.
