Three drivers were hospitalized on Wednesday morning after their pickup trucks collided on W Highway 40 in Ocala.
Shortly before 6:15 a.m., Ocala Fire Rescue crews consisting of Engine 4, Rescue 1, Squad 7, Battalion Chief 11, and a Safety Officer were dispatched to the 5500 block of W Highway 40 due to reports of a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, OFR crews observed three pickup trucks that were blocking several lanes of traffic: a red GNC Sierra that had rolled over and was upright, a silver Ford F-150 with heavy front-end damage, and a modified Ford Ranger with a black cab that sustained heavy damage to the front and rear of the vehicle.

Crew members secured the scene and assessed the drivers who had sustained injuries in the crash. All three drivers were then transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The names, ages, and genders of the drivers involved in the accident were not released by Ocala Fire Rescue.
