Kirby Family Farm’s Rock-N-Roll Easter Train event is returning to Williston next weekend for its 8th annual installment.
The family-friendly event will be held on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kirby Family Farm, which is located at 19650 NE 30th Street in Williston.
During the event, attendees will be able to climb aboard a full-sized historical locomotive on Florida’s largest private railroad. There will also be plenty of games and activities, including an Easter egg hunt, amusement rides, carnival games, a Spring farm petting area, an Easter magic show, and a festive dance party with the Easter Bunny.
Upon entry, children ages 3 to 10 will receive a numbered prize ticket, and a volunteer at the prize depot will then help match that ticket to a prize. The prizes range from souvenir small plush animals to giant stuffed animals, tickets to major theme parks, a brand-new bicycle, gift cards, and more.
According to Kirby Family Farm, prize tickets will be guaranteed for all children ages 3 to 10 who are preregistered for the event. Any children in this age range who purchase tickets at the gate will receive prize tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition, children ages 2 and under will receive a special animal plush or equivalent prize.
Tickets cost $10.99 (ages 3 to 10) and $15.99 (ages 11 and up). Children ages 2 and under can attend the event for free.
