Curtis E. Dyess, age 71 passed away peacefully on Friday March 24, 2023 at Cates Hospice House in Ocala, FL. Born October 27th, 1951 in Red Level, FL., to Willie E. Dyess and Mary Jordan Dyess. He married his wife Elizabeth Kelley on June 12th,1969 in Dunnellon, FL. Curtis retired from Carlisle Interconnect Tech. in 2019 where he was the Corporate Special Projects and Maintenance Engineer.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Beth), brothers Gene and Ricky, sister Diane Smith, step sister Debbie Russell, sons Michael, Richard and Shawn Dyess. 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church of Silver Springs FL.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 1st , 2023 at 10:00 am, with the service to follow at 11:00 am at Knauff Funeral Home, 512 E. Noble Ave. Williston, FL.32696. Pastor Vaughn Foust will officiate the service and Pastor Jerry Philman will lead the committal service. Interment will follow at Cherry Hill Cemetery in Morriston.
