The Rocket Man Show, a tribute to legendary musician Elton John, is heading to the Reilly Arts Center in May.
The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 26 at the Reilly Arts Center, which is located at 500 NE 9th Street in Ocala.
The tribute show will feature Rus Anderson as he performs as a young Elton John. Anderson is the official body double for Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road world tour launch promo video and photos.
Anderson painstakingly recreates the feel of an early Elton John concert with fierce piano playing, spot-on vocals, and colorful and flamboyant costumes that were actually worn by the music icon. Those costumes include boots, glasses, and jumpsuits from 1973, as well as a sparkly tuxedo from 1984, according to the Reilly Arts Center.
Tickets are on sale for the upcoming concert and range from $25 to $85.
