A vehicle crash at the intersection of N Pine Avenue and State Road 40 in Ocala sent two people to the hospital on Tuesday morning.
As of 12 p.m. on Tuesday, all northbound lanes on Pine Avenue, from State Road 200 to State Road 40, are blocked as a result of the accident. All other lanes of traffic are open.
Two individuals involved in this morning’s crash were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Ocala Police Department.
No further details were provided by Ocala police regarding the number of individuals or vehicles involved in the accident.
The Ocala Police Department encourages motorists to avoid the area where the accident occurred. “Please find an alternate route in your travels,” stated OPD on its Facebook page.
