Ray Wayside Park will be partially closed for maintenance beginning on Tuesday, November 14.
According to the Marion County Parks and Recreation Department, the maintenance work at Ray Wayside Park (9564 NE 28th Lane in Silver Springs) will include erosion repairs, as well as improvements to pedestrian and sidewalk areas.
Boat Ramp 1 (northern ramp) at Ray Wayside Park, along with the adjacent pedestrian areas and the sidewalk along the waterway, will be closed until further notice.
The recreation and parks department states that crews expect these areas to reopen during the week of December 4.
Ray Wayside Park is slated to undergo a larger renovation project in late 2026.
