City of Ocala business offices will be closed on Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26 in observance of Christmas. Additionally, these offices will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024, in observance of New Year’s Day.
During these business office closures, the residential and commercial sanitation schedule will be as follows:
- Monday, December 25 through Friday, December 29: Residential sanitation and Waste Pro recycling routes will experience a one-day delay and will instead run Tuesday through Friday. Commercial sanitation routes will be collected as regularly scheduled.
- Monday, January 1 through Friday, January 5: Residential sanitation and Waste Pro recycling routes will experience a one-day delay and will instead run Tuesday through Friday. Commercial sanitation routes will be collected as regularly scheduled.
The SunTran bus system will be closed for operations on Monday, December 25, with all regularly scheduled routes resuming on Tuesday, December 26.
In addition, SunTran will be closed on Monday, January 1, and all regularly scheduled routes will resume on Tuesday, January 2.
