One person was hospitalized on Saturday morning after their pickup truck collided with an Amazon semi-truck in northwest Ocala.
At around 8 a.m., the accident involving a pickup truck and Amazon semi occurred on NW Blitchton Road, according to Ocala Fire Rescue.
“Have you ever driven by an accident only to be left with the dreaded thought of what could have possibly been of those inside the mangled vehicles?” stated OFR on social media.
Despite the “grim image” above, OFR stated that the driver and sole occupant of the pickup truck was alert when paramedics arrived on scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
There were no other injuries reported.
No further details were provided by Ocala Fire Rescue regarding the cause of the crash or the identities of the drivers involved.
