Deputies looking for runaway teen last seen in Crystal River

(UPDATE: In a social media post, the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office stated that Lillie Mae Callahan has been found safe.)

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public to find a missing 14-year-old girl who was last seen in Crystal River on Friday evening.

According to the sheriff’s office, Lillie Mae Callahan was reported as a missing runaway juvenile on Saturday, February 10. The previous day, she was last seen at around 7:30 p.m. in the Crystal River area.

Lillie is 5’5” tall, she weighs approximately 125 pounds, and she has brown hair and hazel eyes. When she was last seen, she was wearing a black top and jeans, and she may be with a small puppy.

According to deputies, Lillie’s destination and direction of travel are currently unknown. This is the second time in less than a month that Lillie has run away from home. During the previous incident in January, she was last seen in Dunnellon, and she was soon found safe.
