A two-vehicle crash with rollover temporarily blocked the westbound lanes of SW College Road in Ocala on Friday morning.
Shortly before 7:25 a.m., Ocala Fire Rescue units consisting of Engine 6, Rescue 4, Tower 1, Battalion Chief 11, and a Safety Officer responded to the 3800 block of SW College Road after receiving reports of a vehicle collision, according to OFR.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they observed a white sedan with moderate damage to its passenger side and a blue SUV that had rolled onto its roof.
OFR stated that the SUV was missing its passenger side wheel.
Both drivers involved in the crash were “ambulatory,” meaning that they were able to walk around. There were no injuries reported.
The Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded to the scene of the accident.
Motorists traveling in the area experienced traffic delays on Friday morning. According to OFR, the roadway has since been cleared and regular traffic patterns have resumed on SW College Road.
