Michelle Diane Hopkins, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully, in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 57. Born on August 07, 1966, in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, Shelly’s infectious warmth and unwavering spirit were evident from the start.

Shelly was the cherished daughter of Mike and Mary Procyson, whose nurturing and guidance shaped her into the extraordinary person she became. Her loving nature extended to her own family as she raised her two sons, Bobby Hopkins and his wife Bridgette, and Tommy Hopkins, with the same dedication and care she received as a child. Shelly’s joy was multiplied with the birth of her granddaughter, Ash Hopkins, who became the light of her life. She also leaves her sister Jeannie Sohns.

Her aunts Celia Walton McBride and Charlotte Bernard shared a special bond with Shelly, one that was filled with laughter, support, and countless cherished memories. Together, they navigated the complexities of life, always finding solace in each other’s company.

Shelly was a remarkable individual whose generosity knew no bounds. She was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back without a second thought, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her lovingly stubborn nature was a testament to her strong will and determination, traits that she passed on to her children and granddaughter.

Animals held a special place in Shelly’s heart, and she shared her home with a menagerie of pets over the years. Each one was loved and cared for as a member of the family, a true reflection of Shelly’s nurturing soul.

Living for her family, Shelly created a home filled with love, laughter, and the occasional spirited debate. She was an amazing mother and grandmother, always present for the big moments and the small ones, offering her unwavering support and wisdom.

Shelly’s absence will be deeply felt by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and love will continue to live on through the lives she touched.

Shelly’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Her life was a testament to the beauty of giving, and her memory will continue to inspire acts of kindness and love in all who knew her.
