Joe Cephus Lewis Sr., age 95, passed away on May 6, 2024.
He was born on December 5, 1928 in Oxford, Florida, a son of William and Bessie Lewis.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his wife, Mary Lou Lewis; two sons, Payton Lewis (Anna), Joe C. Lewis, Jr. (Jammie); three daughters, Vicky Mikrut (Mark), Nadine Lewis, Gail Robinson (Kevin), a brother; Frank Lewis and six grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
He is preceded by a daughter, Marcella Lewis and two grandchildren.
