The United States Navy will continue testing bombs beginning on Monday at the Pinecastle Range Complex within the Ocala National Forest.

The Navy will conduct inert bombing exercises from Monday through Thursday, June 24 to 27. Tests will run on Monday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.; on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.; on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.; and from Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

During the bombing periods, residents will likely hear noises coming from the forest. Additionally, residents may see wildlife that has been temporarily displaced.

Any motorists driving near or through the Ocala National Forest are advised to proceed with extreme caution.
