The United States Navy will conduct live and inert bomb tests at the Ocala National Forest through most of this week.
Bombing exercises will take place at the Pinecastle Range Complex within the Ocala National Forest beginning Monday, July 15.
Testing of both live and inert bombs will take place each day from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. through Thursday, July 18.
Motorists and local residents are advised that wildlife may be temporarily displaced during the testing periods.
“Use extra caution when driving through the Ocala National Forest and surrounding areas. Secure any items around your residence that could attract wildlife. Always be mindful of larger animals including black bears and practice bearwise,” reads a statement from the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville.
